Characters,conflict and evalutation

What I liked about this book alot was that Jermiah and Elisha meet in high school and from there they fell in love.What I would change about this book is all the critizizm they got from a white teen and black teen being together.Everywhere they went they would hear bad rumors about them and they look so wrong together.Ididnt dislike anything at all in this book because because itz a chick book filled with drama & im suker for those kinds of books.
The main conflict in my book was that so much difference between jermiah's family and elisha's family. None of there would families would them to have a relationship together.The internal conflict about the book was that Elisha's mom had abonded her when she a little girl and then she came back but their relationship is not the same. Her mom tries to get closer to her but the Elisha doesnt care no more.Also Jermiah's parents are split and the parents are always asking to choose between them and its too much pressure for him. The the external conflict is the world cant accept jermiah and elisha being as a couple.
What they learn is too move with life no matter happens and not care what people say about you.

Independent Reading Book : BLog post "If U Come To Me Softly"

      A siginficant qoute from my book was that that Jermiah the dude that Elisha likes she keeps thinking about him and in her first day of class she has to wear uniforn and she thinks it suks to dress the same as all the other students . What was so significant about that day was that it was raining so hard and Elisha was walking to her house in the street of Brooklyn and she was carring some books from school and she dropped them by accedent but the cool part of the whole thing was that Jermiah was walking right pass her and he decide to bend down to help her pick up all her books as sch a gentlemen. ELlsha was frozen and kept staring at Jermiah face she admired Jermiahs beauty , she liked is eyes ,hair,black skin. They both said hi and JErmiah told her he would see her areound tpo be nice. Elisha was happy that all of this had happened and then went to her house for dinner wanting to tell her mom what had happened to her with him. She kept thinking about that for almost the whole day.

my 3rd book refection: "If you come softly".

       My 3rd book's main characters are Jermiah and Elisha. What is important about these characters is that they saw each other for the very first time and they think about each other alot. I think that they are gonna fall in love with eachother because they admire one another. The setting takes place in modern time like know.How this story might be important is that it might teach you a lesson about love and that it does not matter if you are black or white .
      .I am gonna be saying what the backround is about in my book is that ellie is a white girl that has suffered from her moms doings that was abondaning her . Jermiah is coming from a black people family and then they see one another and they are starting to fall in love with each other. They dont know what everyone will say about their relationship if they actually do get together. But they will have to stand all the critizizim that they will tell them because they love eachother and wont let no one get in their way of being with themselfs.

My book Esperanza Rising:

1)What i disliked about my book" ESPERANZA RISING'':  she went from having it all from el Rancho De las Rosas  to having to work in the united states as a farmworker getting low wages and trying to support her family because her mom got a disease from the wind storm so she had to go to the hospital and stay their for some months. I feel sad for her because she is brarely being a teenager aand she deserves to live a good happy life at those teeange years but instead she is struggling also to get her abuelita to come and visit her mom so she get get happier .
2)What i liked about the book is that at the beginning of the book she was very happy and felt like the luckiest girl in the world because she had her mothers n fathers love , house servants, toys,friend in a private school.
She express how she felt went she would go to those beautiful parties and her mom would buy her many wonderful pretty dresses for a girl  her age.
3) A book that i would love to read next is another novel of "gossip girl" because i just like reading romantic books full of pure friends and drama. Those books make me want to actually wanna read and have a good time.

My dream act ESSAY;

Dream Act:

        My essay is about the Dream Act. This article was written by the author named Jose Miguel Leyva. It was published for the Progressive Magazine. This article gives many ways to think about how our future could be like if they approved the dream act

   

       The author is trying to say in the article that the Dream Act would do so much good to the undocumented children that live in the United States that would like to study a career and go to college.He clearly says that it is truly unfair to close the doors on them when all they are asking for is some support to help them achieve their dreams when they grow up and have a better life than they're parents had .Lastly but not least he says a very important thing which is that we shall not deny them the opportunity to have a better life , they are no different from your children or mine

  .What the author Levya is doing in this article is that the act is in proceses to being accepted in the Congress. Also he states a fact that why would they spend so much money on commercials, programms, etc... when the the ones that really want to go you just dont even listen to the because they are illegal immigrant , they did not choose to be immigrants they just are . He states that even though they are illegal here if they are willing to work hard and go to college then they should get the opportunity to prove that they can make it in the world and become somebody.

         MEAN:

The significance of this article is  that a new beginning ca happen for the united states  if they approve it . Why is because it would involve more graduating students, more jobs, better economy.

My decision would be to approve it united states should stop being raisist and deal with the fact that  the dream act will and not maybe but will benefit us all in a way.That is the path to success.

my theme from my 3rd book "THE UGLIES"

THE THEME:

My book the uglies has a theme that i came up with .
my theme is dont change for someone who doesnt like you for the real person you are, it will never be worth it.

what im trying to say in my theme is that since TALLY my main charachter  wants to do that operation that will take her a while she will wait 3 months to do it when she turn 16. she will get the operation to please people on not looking so ugly to them. She wants to feel wanted in the places she goes and not critizized everywhere. Since she likes her best friend she had since she was a little girl, he got the operation and he cant be seen with an ugly girl in new pretty town or it will be a big disaster for him. So what i mean is if he wont accept her the way she is and how she looks infront of himself and everybody then why even be friends with a guy like him. she should love herself the way she is and not feel bad about what people think about her.
